Positions for internships and bachelor/masters dissertations are available in the laboratory of Professor Jonathan Hall at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at ETH-Zürich. The duration of the placements can be between 2-12 months.
The successful applicants will participate in biochemistry-focused research projects investigating cellular metabolite-directed modulation of unique RNA structures in human cancer cells. The projects will allow the individuals to gain extensive knowledge in the area of cancer metabolites, experience in various biochemical and biophysical techniques and contribute to high quality hot-topic based publications.

These positions would suit organized and motivated individuals who are studying a natural science based subject, and would like to gain experience in a multidisciplinary research environment. Basic lab/biochemistry experience would be beneficial.
